Spellbound Sunday
Join us every second Sunday for spellbinding monthly treats from the Wand and Spoon kitchen hosted at NAMNAM Space in Koenji! Starting from September, we will be rolling out seasonal sweets! Get ready for a taste of Autumn with pumpkin-chocolate chip koiyaki (koi-shaped cakes), caramel apple cauldrons (cinnamon cookie cups with apple compote filling and caramel drizzle), maple frights (spooky themed maple-chocolate fudge with roasted pumpkin seeds), and basilisk eggs (papas rellanas with a new filling every month).
September’s fundraiser is dedicated to Helen, a community member here in Japan who has been wrongfully imprisoned. Funds will go toward helping her get back on her feet after her release. So come through for delicious treats and good conversation at this month’s Wand and Spoon gathering. See you there!

Fabled Friday
Did you miss out on Spellbound Sunday? Then join us every fourth Friday for “Fabled Friday” and get a second chance at tasting the monthly treat, plus some special extras from the Wand and Spoon kitchen! June’s specials are black and white koiyaki. lemon-pepper nuggets, chickpea and broccoli salad with green goddess dressing, and southwest-style savory muffins. The black koiyaki will be a cocoa-black tahini cake and the white koiyaki will be kninako-white tahini. Our muffin will be prepared with diced bell peppers, vegan cheese, and taco seasoning. We are excited to see you there!
Taste of the Wild
Join us at our first pop-up in Chiyoda! We’ll be selling some wild, sweet treats at a stand on the first floor for you to enjoy. All of our items are vegan! The menu includes:
Blood orange fudge bears
Fruit bat beignets
And pumpkin and chocolate koi cookies
